AEW Full Gear 2024 takes place on Saturday, November 23 2024, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This highly anticipated event begins at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST and will be available on pay-per-view and TrillerTV. The card features four championship bouts and the AEW pay-per-view debut of Bobby Lashley. Headlining the night is Jon Moxley defending his AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy, along with Kris Statlander challenging TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné. Other major matches include Will Ospreay facing off against Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita defending the AEW International Championship against Ricochet.
The rivalry between MJF and Adam Cole has taken a dramatic turn heading into Full Gear. While Cole failed to defeat Konosuke Takeshita to earn a title shot, Roderick Strong succeeded in qualifying. As a result, MJF will now defend his title against Strong, though his feud with Cole appears far from settled. Meanwhile, Ricochet has been chasing the AEW International Championship for months and will finally get his opportunity against Takeshita. Fans can expect a high-octane contest between two of AEW’s most athletic stars.
A heated feud between Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay will also come to a head at Full Gear. Fletcher’s betrayal of Ospreay has led to weeks of animosity, and their match is expected to deliver on its personal stakes. Kris Statlander, on the other hand, has been on a warpath leading up to her challenge for the TBS Women’s Championship. Statlander’s intensity has left Mercedes Moné on the defensive, setting up a highly anticipated clash.
In one of the night’s most significant storylines, Jon Moxley defends his AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy.
